After I did it I realized that I was indirectly inspired by Matthew Mckendrey Johnson's work. You should check his stuff out.
I had no idea what I wanted to do so I decided to combine a bunch of things that I love ie:
Homeless men
Beards
Food
Drawing
cockeyes
etc.
